    Please use separate threads for unrelated questions and give them meaningful titles, such as Shot to death.

    It is also helpful if you give us the context in which you found these sentences.

    Finally, please use a capital letter for the first word of every sentence, and turn Caps Lock off.

    1. 'Shot to death' means 'killed by gunfire'.

    please explain this sentence in more easy way and also explain what mean of at times and by differences in this sentence
    "At times" = sometimes, occasionally. Sentence meaning: Usually they (persons, countries, corporations etc.) had a good relationship, but occasionally, the good relationship was damaged/interrupted by differences in opinion, behavior, practices etc.)
