    Default infinitive

    Hi,

I don't want you to speak so much = I don't want so much you to speak?

Is there any difference between them?

I think the first one means :You are speaking so much and I dont want it.

the second one means :You are speaking but I don't want it so much maybe I don't support it.

    Is that right?

    Thank you

The second is not natural English. We'd have to say something like, "I don't very much want you to speak (at all)".
