Would you please tell me the difference between these two sentences? 1)Do you like to come? 2)Would you like to come? Thanks in advance, Last edited by zoobinshid; 29-Sep-2005 at 17:51.

The only difference is that the latter is more formal

There is a difference: Do you like to come? = you've visited it a few times and I want to know if you enjoy it Would you like to come? = an invitation (polite)
