It is a sentence from a book named Model Business letters, E-mails. My question
is why 'the' not used before copies.I think, it is definite, as it indicates the copies of particular things(testimonials).

Can anyone suggest me a book about articles with lots of usages and examples?

It doesn't matter that they are copies of particular things, they are still just referred to as "copies". If anything, the missing word would be "some".

Enclosed are copies of my application form.
Please send copies of your bank statements.

However, once those copies have been involved, they would thereafter attract the article.
