    Default in this house

    Which are correct:

    1-In this house, that remark is a compliment.
    2-That remark is a compliment, in this house.
    3-That remark is a compliment in this house.

    Meaning: It wouldn't be a compliment elsewhere, but in this house it should be considered a compliment.

    I think "1" works and "3" doesn't. I think in "2" we need a dash instead of the comma. A longer pause.
