    Default usage of "both ends"

    Hi!

I want to know if my usage of "both ends" in the sentence is correct:

She was responding positively to the lesson, so happiness on both ends. (What I mean is both the teacher and the student were happy.)

Thanks so much! I would appreciate this much if you could help me.

A little unusual, but I would use "at".

    I would probably say:

She was responding positively to the lesson, so there was happiness on both sides.
She was responding positively to the lesson, so there was happiness on all sides.
She was responding positively to the lesson, so there was happiness all round.
She was responding positively to the lesson, so everyone was happy!
