Hi,
Would you please tell me which is the correct one.
We are going to movie theater every Monday.
or
We go to movie theater every Monday.
Thank you
Roy
The first COULD be correct if you were, for example, explaining your plans for the summer. We are going to the movie theater every Monday, to the pool every Tuesday and Thursday, and we'll make little day trips every Wednesday.
However, if you want to say simply how you spend every Monday, then use the second one.
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
In case you didn't notice the addition in BarbD's post, you need to say "the movie theater" (in BrE, "the cinema").
