Are these sentences correct:
1-Everybody starts going downhill sooner or later, but my time start going downhill isn't now.
2-Everybody starts going downhill sooner or later, but my time isn't now.
I guess "1" is too long and repetitive but is "2" comprehensible?
'Going downhill' is an idiom which means to get worse.
I know the sentence is talking about aging.
If this is the case, shouldn't we say 'going downhill physically'?
