    Default Scottish people

    Does Scottish people study free in their universities ?

    I did some research and I found that they did not raise tuition fees and the universities are free

    I need more explain please

    It doesn't matter if you are Scottish or not. I think the question you want is "Is it free to study at Scottish universities?"

    It is free to study at Scottish universities if you are Scottish or from other parts of the European Union except England.

    English students have to pay for tuition.

    The legality of this unfair discrimination is currently being challenged in the courts.

    Really? I didn't know that! Mind you, if you're Scottish and choose to attend an English uni you have to pay, so I guess it's actually perfectly fair on some levels. I'm not surprised it's being challenged though.

    Scots are entitled to a range of publicly-funded services free of charge including university tuition, long term elderly care and prescriptions, while English families incur fees for the same services.
