You should walk across the bridge to the road = You should walk over the bridge to the road.
We also say "You should cross over the bridge to the road".
You should walk from the bridge to the road is different. That suggests that you do not need to cross the bridge (either it's not necessary or you have already done so) and that you just need to walk to the road from a starting point near the bridge.
