Do you say "I'm funny" to mean you have a good sense of humor?

If so, is it okay to say "the comedian is really funny."

"The comedian is really funny" is correct, it means they act comically, arousing or provoking laughter.

No. It's not good manners to claim to be funny, even if you're hilarious. But you can have a good sense of humour without being funny anyway.
"I'm funny" more often means "I'm strange", as in "I know it's a strange thing to do; I'm funny that way."

There are many people with a great sense of humor, who laugh easily and often, but who can't tell a joke to save their lives. They are definitely not funny. They defiitely do have a good sense of humor.
