    Cool learning a language

    Hello!

Can you tell me is the following sentence is grammatically correct please?

Is "to do " optional here?

"Learning a language is a hard thing to do."

    Cheers

    Will

If you're going to use "a hard thing" then yes, it is. However, you could just say "Learning a language is hard."
