Can you check this sentences?
I'm writing a letter and I need help:
- I am a third-year student at Maritime University in the Faculty of Marine Engineering.
- Since February I intend to start practical training on the ship.
- I had already two practical training as an engineer cadet on the school ships
- I am a person who works well as a team member. I am very ambitious, organized, and willing to learn.
- My knowledge of English is good at the level of communicative and technical.
- I am very interested in working for your firm. I would love to work permanently in your company in the future.
- Thank you very much for your time an consideration.

Since February/March 2012 I intend to start practice on the ship.
I had already two practical training as an engineer cadet on the school ships:
- XXX ( one month)
- XXX (one month)
I am a person who works well as a team member. I am very ambitious, organized, and willing to learn. My knowledge of English is good at the level of communicative and technical.

It's not a typical cover letter. I heard that in this industry companies prefer letters like this.
"practical training" I took from page of my school :)
I don't know how write about english (I can communicate and I know technical words ).
And I'd like to say that I want work for them in the future (now I'll go to the practice). It's very important.
Do you have any ideas and advices? :)
