    Which one is correct? She is an accounting teacher or an accountancy teacher.

    As an American, I'd use only "accounting." The first time I heard "accountancy" in an ESL chat page, I thought it was a bad translation, but I've since learned it's just another one of those difference I hadn't know about before.

    I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.

    Ah yes, another difference. In AmE the term "chip in" is frequently (maybe most often) used when referring to contributing financially to a fund or a payment of some type e.g. a bill in a restaurant.
