    Default I live/am living in King's Road.

    1. I live in King's Road.
    2. I am living in King's Road.

Is there any difference in meaning between the two sentences? Does the first sentence imply permanent residence, while the second temporary residence?

    Thanks.

Yes, there is. The simple present form with its neutral aspect expresses certain amount of permanence, while the progressive suggests some temporariness.
