Is it correct to say :
You kicked me off being your friend?
Also,
I am a man of disguise OR I am a man in disguise?
I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
Thanx a ton for your help!
I am in disguise!
What if, someone says that you have changed.
And in reply, I want to say that I was just wearing a mask.
I am a man of disguise!
Isn't that correct way to say?
No. You have been told the correct way to say it.
Great answer Bard
but I learnt that *are* and *is* mustn't come after pronouns in a question formula
and they must come before *are* and *is*
e.g
you are going to the town ? - this is considered wrong -
are you going to the town ? - this is considered right -
but I'm confused because I always hear in American movies and series
the first formula which the pronoun come first and then *are* or *is* in a questioning way
