How to write large money amounts

Am wondering if a one hundred and thirty-five million dollar company should be written like that or using digits: $135 million company?

Also, should there be more hyphens in it if it should be written out?

I'd use figures not words there. If written in words, then you should add hyphens:
one-hundred-and-thirty-five-million-dollar
Generally we write larger figures as words. Smaller number are often written as words- some say from one to ten, others say up to twenty.

I'd hypenate it because it's still functioning adjectivally.
