Hey!
I need to know the following:
A) Is there any difference between the two, if yes then please explain, and which one is preferred by the native speaker in general:
1) I want there to be peace.
2) I want there should be peace.
B) Is there any difference between two:
1) I feel very puny.
2) I feel very weak.
C) Is there any difference between two:
1) I want him to write a book.
2) I want he would have written a book.
D) Is the following sentence mean "you are avoiding my question"?
You are ducking my question.
E) If the following sentences have the same meaning then which one is preferred by native speaker:
1) My hunch is correct.
2) My doubt/suspicion is correct.
F) What does it mean "It's gross" or "You are total gross".
G) I watched the movie "Underworl the Rise of Lycans" in this movie a character named Viktor puts her daughter into room and instruct the guard " She does not leave the room" according to situation he should have said that "She cannot leave the room". Is there any logic for using does not instead of cannot.
I would like to than you in advance for time and efforts you people put in replying the answer although may be some questions seem too silly but i have difficulty to apprehend these.
Kind regards
Zuhair

Zuhair, for quicker answers, ask only one question per thread.
Many people can answer one or two questions but have neither the time nor knowledge to tackle them all.
If nobody gets around to answering the others, post them again separately, with a great title for each - like this one.
