    What shall we do this Sunday?
    We could go to the beach.

    1. "Could" is used to show that something is or might be possible
    2. Can we use "can" instead of "could" in the above sentence?

    Yes, we can. If the second speaker is making suggestions, 'could' is more likely; 'can' is fairly assertive in this context.
