These are the lines from one of my students' home assignments:

Mary: If you want to get a promotion, be innovative.
Sue: It sounds fine, but I was asked to make coffee for the Acconts and I can't stand doing that.
Mary: I wish I had your problems. If some of the colleagues had told me all that when I started working here, my life would have been completely different.

I think it is a mixed type of conditionals, and instead of 'would have been different' I would say 'would be completely different'.

I would appreciate your sharing opinion on that.

A slight difference. "....would have been completely different" = from the time she started working until some point after that, possibly, but not necessarily, until the present. "....would be completely different" = a change occurred at some time after she started working that changed her life until the present.

But I don't know Mary. So, you'll have to get more info from her.
