Could you proofread 2 paragraphs of a response-letter I am to send to an editor?

During the first reaction there is adsorption of carbon onto the particle until it is saturated. Once the source of Carbon is Methane, its concentration decreases accordingly. After the particle contains enough carbon, the production of NbC starts.
As for the assignment of first and second reactions, it is in accordance with other authors who have published similar works such as Kim (1999) as mentioned in the manuscript.
