Hello
Can I always use the reverse case with either or neither?
You can park on either side.
You can't park on neither side.
The neither sentence sounds stange for me.
Thanks in advance!
Your second sentence is incorrect.
How would you formulate the second sentence (using neither)?
Neither can you park on the left side, nor on the right side![]()
Sounds complicated.
You can't park here is without neither, but probably much better.
Thanks
If you can park on either side, then you can choose to park on the right or on the left. It is not natural to compose a sentence with 'neither' to describe this situation, though you could say this if you wished -
Parking is forbidden on neither side.
It sounds strange.
What about "You can park on neither side".
I thought he wanted to say the opposite of "You can park on either side" using "neither".
