    Default Clause

    Hi
I found this problem in my work book.
‘ He learned that all the murdered men worked/working as bankers.’
    1. Which one is true? and why?
    2. If it is possible for you, write the original sentences.
    Thanks.

He learned that all the murdered men worked as bankers.

All you have to do is translate this sentence into Spanish.

    Thanks for your answer.
Could you possibly write the original sentences for me.
I mean two sentences which were mixed.

He learned [that all the murdered men worked as bankers].
    He learned [that].

    What did he learn?
    That they worked as bankers.
    That they working as bankers.
    --------------
He knew all the murdered men working as bankers.
    He knew them.

working as bankers = (all the murdered men) who worked as bankers = postmodifying relative clause
