Hi
I am writing technical documentation and would like to ask if this sentence structure sounds correct:
"The BX API uses different CTI functions and generates different events for hotdesk agents than for traditional ACD agents."
Something about it doesn't sound quite correct. can anyone please comment and give some suggestions?
Angus
p.s. BX API is a technical term - it is a programming interface. readers will of course know what this means.
The 'point' of the sentence is to explain that different CTI functions and events are used for tradtional ACD agents than for hotdesk agents.

I've studied Visual C++ and I can tell you the only problem I see with your wording of it is the way you're using the word "different".
The BX API uses different CTI functions, and (the) events it generates for hotdesk agents are different from those it does for traditional ACD agents.
I may be wrong. Let me know what you think.
