    Default The dilemma

Please, check if the following passages are grammatically correct. Thanks!

**This is a translated passage. It is neither intended to express a political opinion nor start a political discussion. I'm just interested in the language. **

The ___ [a country] society is asking itself these days "Quo Vadis?" Whether it has been determined that ____ [a country] will be conquered by the descendants of those peoples whose countries it had conquered in the past, or must _____ [a country] repatriate them if it wishes to save itself as a society and a culture? There is no third possibility.

A democratic society tends to be too weak to decide on such difficult questions. It represses the question from consciousness or ignores it in order to avoid the dilemma. And when the weakness of democracy grips the entire political and judicial systems, it pushes the society into the depth of a dark cave of self-elimination and, as in the legend of the Piper of Hamelin, it guides everyone to drown in the river.
