As I know, one of the meanings of "work" is "for something to be realized" that doesn't seem to be defined in the dictionary. When I was in Canada, I got a call from an interviewer, and she said "Your interview is arranged at 10pm at this location, you have to transfer two or three buses to come here. Does it work for you?"
She seemed to mean "Can this be realized by you"? Is it correct? Do the following examples all mean "be effective" or different meanings?
1.The project worked => (be realized) or (be effective)
2.The plan(medicine) worked => (be effective)
In this case, "does it work for you?" means "is this ok with you?".
Yes. If the results of your project are successful as measured by the goals set when defining the project.
