    Default unpleasant glances?

    Are the followings correct in the way they are expressed to mean" giving me sharp or fierce eyes"?

    - They throw me unpleasant glances

    - They give me stinging glances

    I wonder especially if "stinging" in the second sentence is correct and what about "biting"?
