Which is the correct sentence?

I guess the first sentence is correct choice. Am I right?

The first one does not really make much sense; the second is fine.

The second is correct.

The first doesn't make sense because "The little boy liked some food..." means that there were some foods that he enjoyed eating. That's not something you wouldn't dare tell your father.

The second "The little boy would have liked..." means that "He wanted some food..." If the boy is frightened of his father then it makes sense that he would not dare tell his father that he was hungry.

Liked = past tense of "to like"
Would have liked = past version of "would like" ie "to want".
