Unhappy which one is the subject

dear teacher
He bite the cat (active)
The cat was bit by him (passive)
((are the sentences grammatical?))

He bit the cat.
The cat was bitten by him. (Correct but not a very natural sentence)

In the passive sentence, 'the cat' is the subject. We call 'him' the agent.
