2. I want to know how many of those projects are your own and how many are owned (OK, but "belong to" would work too) by third parties.
3. The sun was directly in the eye and I was not able to see anything on the road. Because you use "I" in the second clause, I would use "in my eyes" in the first clause. (This makes the statement more personal) But if you use "in the eye" in the first clause, I would use something like "and it was impossible to see anything".(This make the statement more impersonal or general.)
