Default the use of collective breath

    Dear all,

I'd like to make sure the use of "hold one's collective breath"is correct.

The two horses passed the post almost at the same time. The spectators looked up at the video screen and held their collective breath to see which has won.

    Thank you!

It's a creative use of the word, and acceptable here.
