    Arrow Yet?

    "It's not like he has done anything."
    "It's not like he has done anything yet."

    I understand the first sentence but not the second with "yet". Help?

    It means that speaker is assuming that he might/could/will do something in the future - and that it's important to communicate that.
    But, so far, he hasn't done anything.
