The river basin is much more than just the channel of water and adjacent land. Cook said the whole landscape should be included.
My question is :
1.what does" adjeacent land " mean ?
2. As far as I know" landscape" has meaning of "scenery", but it doesn't seem right in the news, so what does it mean here?
