    Default Pressed briefly

    Hi,

Bobruichanka pressed briefly after the re-start, but Arsenal soon regained control and Nobbs doubled the lead with a close range shot from Rachel Yankey's 64th minute cross.

    1.
    What does "pressed briefly" mean?

    2.
Does the "after the re-start" mean "after the first half"?

    Thansk a lot

A better title would have been Bobruichanka pressed briefly after the re-start. We don't charge by the word.

    1.
What does "pressed briefly" mean? Tried much harder for a short time.

    2.
Does the "after the re-start" mean "after the first half"? At the start of the second half.

    Thanks a lot

    Thanks a lot.

I will improve the title next time.

Does the "after the re-start" mean "after the first half"? At the start of the second half.
So the "re-start" means "the second half", and "after the re-start" means any time during the second half?

    Thanks a lot

The re-start is the very beginning of the second half. It's when the game starts again.

Yes, any time in the second half is "after" the re-start, but they mean in the opening minutes of the half.
