Hi,

I would like to ask about used to and would.

Normally, we cannot use stative verbs with would.But,

I think you made a mistake. (Stative)
think = believe

I am thinking about my mum now. (Action )
think = mental process

My question that :Can we use the verbs which are stative and action with would?
For example,

a. When I was a child, I would think about being a good theacher.

b. Every Summer I came to our house, we would always have a walk together.

Are they correct?

That's possible, although it is not usual for children to think about being a good teacher. Did you mean 'becoming'?

b. Every Summer I came to our house, and we would always have a walk together.
If you replace 'I' with the name of somebody else, that is now possible, although I prefer 'go for/take a walk'.
