I can't stand that

Dear English Masters,

I have three questions.

First,

I can't stand that~~~
I can't stand the fact that~~~

Are they both usable? I want to use the first one because the second one sounds a bit stiff.
I want to know if it's OK.

Second,

If there are two things I can't stand. How can I connect the two?

Is "nor that" a possible option like I used below?

"I can't stand that my emotions are always trampled on and taken as a symptom of my mental illness, nor that my parents have to go through such a misery because of me."


Lastly, could anyone please tell me how the whole sentence looks in terms of its structure and grammar?

Both are OK. The second may be "stiff" but OK if you are speaking about a fact.

Second,

Is "nor that" a possible option like I used below? No. See below.

As I was preparing my response and re-reading your original example, I am inclined to ask, what is the "symptom" of the speaker's mental illness and/or "taken" by whom?. I ask this because, depending on your response, I might see another problem with your example.

I meant:

Rather than being respected, the speaker's emotions are being treated and conceived (by people around or people in general) as a symptom of mental illness because of the speaker's prior medical history.

And that's one of the two things the speaker couldn't take anymore.
