At the same time, we will do our best to ensure that once being confirmed as a UEFA EURO 2012 Volunteer you will have the of an unforgettable and unique experience, joining the UEFA organising team of the third greatest sport event in the world!
    (UEFA EURO 2012™ VOLUNTEERS PROGRAMME)

I wonder if 'the of' is just a typo or could be a mistake due to the fact that English was not the native language for those who wrote this programme?

    Thanks.

There is a word missing between the and of, perhaps opportunity.

Probably. There's the fairly remote possibility that it's a multi-layered typo: the writer, who wanted editorial advice, wrote 'you will have "the" or "an"? unforgettable...' And not only did the review text stay in, but the 'or' became 'of' (a typo that springs too readily to my fingertips).

They could have avoided the confusion by leaving out both words and saying "... you will have an unforgettable and unique experience ..."
