Present Simple but Perfect Simple

I just want to know why we say Present simple not Simple Present ;Past Simple not Simple Past whereas we say Simple Perfect not Perfect Simple?

You can say either "simple present/past" or "past/present simple". I don't say simple perfect or perfect simple.

Most writers do not say 'present perfect simple' because we use 'simple' to mean 'non-aspectual' i.e, not progressive/continuous, not perfect.
