    Default Usage of "all this"

    Hello,

I would be grateful if you could tell me if I am using "all this" correctly. The sentences:

Later, I realized that an environment, background and lighting are even more important. All this makes photography truly challenging.

As you see, here I use "all this" for multiple items, but "all this" is singular itself... I guess such a usage is correct, but would like to know if it really is. Thank you very much in advance.

    Regards,
    Tadas

    Welcome to the forum, Tadas.

You've used "all this" correctly. It's a set phrase used for a collection of things.
