Please help me with this sentence (this is not my homework)

Hello,

I want to add some captions for my video that I will be uploading on youtube. I'm confused as to whether this sentence is absurd or not: ".....what you are about to see may not knock you in the aisles but please, don't say I didn't go down with guns firing". Please help me.

In the video, I perform something - that people normally perform using two hands - with only one hand, so the caption is about asking viewers to go easy on me. I lost use of my left hand in an accident.
