colored man Hi
A colored man I know claims that the rain brought him a litter of puppies.
Does "colored man" mean that he was probably black?

Teacher Re: colored man Not necessarily. Anyway, it has a dated an unacceptable feel about it now. Is there any need to mention the colour (BrE) of the man's skin?
