I just come across this phrase "list etudes" and search it on the internet but found no formal explanation to it. However I found a news article containing this phrase : " Forbes list eludes as Indian models fight odds"
What is the meaning of it in this context?

That sounds to me like a headline. If it is try reading the article; that might help.
This might be relevant: Franz Liszt - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (an étude - as the word suggests - is a musical study. (French words with an é often have English counterparts with s: école/school, état/state, étage/stage...)

It is a headline from the July 8 issue of The Economic Times of India. The article has 395 words and the explanation of "list eludes" is in the second sentence.
It would be a help to all who volunteer here if you would take the time to proofread your question before posting it.
As you can see, Bob rightly thought you meant the French word études (probably because that is exactly what you wrote).
