    Default getting away

    Dear teachers...

Is there any difference between these two sentences?

You're the person we're trying to get away from.
You're the person from whom we're trying to get away.

    Thanks

    Default Re: getting away

The second is rather formal and, in my opinion, stuffy. They are both grammatically correct.
