    Default spells "take"

    Hi

Keep practicing magic for your spells can "take" even if you're not the most experienced natural magician.

    Does "take" just mean "work"?

The sentence doesn't make any sense.

    Hi
I changed the original a bit.
It says: Keep practicing (magic), however, for your spells can "take" even if you're not the most experienced natural magician.

In that case, yes, it means "work". Why did you change the original?

Because I didn't know that it would change the meaning.
    Thanks for the answer.
