Default I'm looking for a good verb.

"I was closed in an elevator for over five hours, when electricity went out." I guess "closed" is wrong. Is there any good verb for here?

Hello Peppy_man,

I believe 'trapped' is the word you're looking for in the given context.

All the best

Tomasz Klimkiewicz, thank you!
How about 'I was stuck in an elevator'?
