    Default delicious

And the food were extremely delicious to everyone.

I do not think we can use this word "delicious" like that. Can I correct it like this:

Everyone liked the delicious food extremely. Or do you have anyother advice?

Note also: "The food WAS..." not the "The food WERE..."

I'm not a teacher, but I write for a living. Please don't ask me about 2nd conditionals, but I'm a safe bet for what reads well in (American) English.
