Default Uses of "have got/have gotten".

    Hello!
Here it is the following situation:
It was difficult to find a job for me. I've been looking for it almost four months. In the end I was lucky and as the result I've got my job.
Can I say ...as the result I've gotten my job?
Do American/British people still use the form 'gotten' (Past Participle) or just 'got'?

    Thank you very much!
