    Which one of these two senteces is more idiomatic?

    Which one sounds more natural to you? Or which one makes more sense with the use of tenses?

    I would choose the present continuous - ".... what you are saying..."

    as it is something that is happening at the moment of speaking.

    Do you agree with me?
