    Default past perfect /passive

would u pls explain me what is the diffference between following two examples.

When I went there I found that the bag had disappeared./ When I went there I found that the bag was disappeared.

I know one is past perfect and second is passive.

The Past Perfect expresses the idea that something occurred before another action in the past. It can also show that something happened before a specific time in the past.

    thx

The second is not passive. 'Disappear' is an intransitive verb - it governs no object and has no passive.

It is possible to use the past participles 'gone' and, just about, 'disappeared' as adjectives, in informal conversation (The bag was gone/disappeared), but I do not recommend that you do this in writing.
