because usage
Is the following question correct?
Do you think the summer is better than the winter?
I think the summer is better because it's fun to swim at the beach.
Personally, I feel using the word "the" twice in the question makes it sound rather wordy.
I think there is no problem with the above answer.
Do you agree?

We either use 'the' in all three places, or in none.
'(The) summer?' would have been a more helpful thread title.
